El Paso production company shines a spotlight on the borderland

El Paso, as opposed to Las Cruces, N.M., has yet to garner a lot of interest from the film industry due to New Mexico’s competing and more appealing state tax incentives. But that has not stopped local film production companies like Tower Productions from highlighting the wonders of the Sun City on the silver screen.
Carlos M. De La Torre, chairman of Tower Productions, told El Paso Inc. they are negotiating with major streaming companies to distribute current and future short and feature films.
