The El Paso Film Festival is one of the largest showcases of independently made films in the southwest.

Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 throughout the region and country, we will not be hosting any live event screenings this year. Thus, you will not be able to purchase any badges or tickets for our 2020 Film Festival. 

Instead, our programming will be available digitally on our website and our streaming television channels on Roku TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

You can also watch our “How To” video on our Vimeo Channel.

Please feel free to share your favorite films on social media via our website as well. Otherwise, stay safe and healthy by enjoying our programming from the comfort of your own home.

While we aren’t selling tickets or badges this year, we could always use a small donation from our supporters and past attendees. 

You can make an online contribution via our 501(c)3 donation form or at our El Paso Giving Day page.

Our 2020 film festival is free to access via our website, Roku TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV streaming channels. You can also enjoy some of our past programming from 2018 and 2019 on our streaming channels and website.

Our 2020 programming will become available starting Friday, October 16 and will end Sunday, October 25, 2020. Some of our 2019 and 2018 programming is available to stream now.

Our content is Not Rated (NR) or Unrated (UR). We recommend that if your children are under the age of 13 that you watch our programming with them. Any content that we deem too intense for young viewers will be labeled with a “Viewer Discretion Advised” label.

You can download the El Paso Film Festival streaming television channels today via your Roku TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV devices and access our current programming from the comfort and safety of your own home.

You can also watch our “How To” video on our Vimeo Channel. 

Our website will serve as the 2020 programming guide so that you can enjoy our film selections when they are released October 2020 on our streaming platforms.

If you don’t have a streaming television device, then don’t worry, you can still enjoy some of our programming via your desktop computer, tablet, or mobile device by visiting our programming page.

You can also purchase your own Roku Device, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV so that you can enjoy our programming safely from your own home. There are HD and 4k options available for your home viewing.

Yes, you will be able to use Google ChromeCast with the programming that is available on our website. There is a limitation though. Only content made available directly on our website will be available to use with your Google ChromeCast.

In order to stream our full festival line-up, you will need to purchase your own Roku Device, Amazon Fire TV Stick, or Apple TV.

We know there are a few issues with our streaming channels, but these issues have more to do with what version of Roku, Amazon Fire, or Apple TV device you are using to watch our channel programming.

Roku TV Issues
You will need a Roku 2, Roku 3, or one of the latest 2019 Roku devices in order to view our streaming channel without any interruptions. Our streaming channel does not work on Roku 1 or earlier Roku Devices. If you need to upgrade, click here to purchase a new Roku device.

Amazon Fire TV Issues
You will need a 2nd generation or one of the latest 2019 Fire TV sticks in order to view our streaming channel without any interruptions. Our streaming channel does not work on first generation Fire TV devices. If you need to upgrade your device, click here to purchase a new Fire TV Stick.

Apple TV Issues
You will need at minimum a 4th generation (HD) or 4K Apple TV device in order to view our streaming channel without any interruptions. Our streaming channel does not work on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Apple TV devices. If you need to upgrade your device, click here to purchase a new Apple TV device.

If you are outside the United States, you will not be able to download our streaming channels. This is due to geo-block some of our programming as it can only be shown in the United States at this time.
