Disrupted Borders wins Adan Medrano Legacy Award

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) announces Ramón Villa-Hernández from El Paso, Texas, as the recipient of the Adán Medrano Legacy Award in Film.

The grant will support the film Disrupted Borders created with co-director Alejandra Aragon and co-producer Cathy Chen. In this short documentary, Wendy (16), maker and aspiring engineer, tinkers using parts from discarded electronics to innovate 3D printed prostheses for her best friend Shelly (15), who has double limb deficiencies.
