Molly Vendettuoli
Producer
Molly Vendettuoli is a Pacific Northwest based filmmaker who got her start working as a professional hair and makeup artist. The Way We Speak is her feature length debut in the producer role.
Her first film role was as makeup department head on the feature film In You We Trust in 2019. In 2021, Molly served as the makeup department head on the minimalist fantasy narrative short film Pinwheel Horizon, where she and The Way We Speak writer-director Ian Ebright first collaborated.
In 2022 she expanded into producing with the seven-episode comedy web series Good at Everything, and currently works as a freelance producer, director, and assistant editor.
Molly aspires to create art that leaves audiences with more questions than answers. Her experience as a crew member informs her posture towards producing—an interest that grew from a desire to create the kinds of film sets she wants to work on.
As Molly says, it’s accomplished by “cultivating an environment that uplifts underrepresented departments and affirms crew members from underprivileged communities.”
