Alejandro J Flores is a Texican filmmaker living between Mexico City and Eagle Pass. He is interested in exploring the intersections of queer and Fronterizo identity, its evolution, and how it can empower others.
He produced The In Between which had its world premiere at SXSW 2024. He also co-directed Boundless, a short episode of Bridge Builders, a series from Independent Lens’ Stories for Justice about criminal legal reform.
He and his sister, Robie, co-founded the independent production company, Ambiente Films.
